About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Care Security Officer for a utilities location in Fairfax, Virginia. The role involves conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control and incident reporting, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel. The position requires a valid driver’s license and includes a Saturday and Sunday schedule from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.22 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of utility facilities, administrative areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeters.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
Observe and report facility conditions, equipment concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
