About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, controlling access, and communicating professionally with personnel and visitors. The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and a commitment to integrity, teamwork, and customer service. The position offers a schedule with shifts on Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.69 per hour. Employees can use the company’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. The company also offers paid training and access to career growth opportunities.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations and perimeter locations, to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
