As a Security Officer Full Time Medical Response Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
Be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and the reporting of suspicious activity or facility concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
