Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel and guests.
Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
