About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to patrol and support access control at a commercial property in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The officer will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with visitors and personnel, and provide customer service. The position is scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Support access control activities and communicate professionally with visitors and personnel.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
