About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Bike Patrol Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients on a university campus in University City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The officer conducts bicycle patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, supports a welcoming campus environment, provides customer service, and responds professionally to security-related concerns. The role follows site-specific procedures and policies and supports emergency response activities. The scheduled shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Pay is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to ride a bike.
At least 21 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment depending on applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
