About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. Officers carry out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, respond to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols of businesses and their perimeters. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The posting also announces walk-in interviews Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 7700 N. Harker Dr., Suite C, Peoria, IL 61614. Candidates are asked to wear business-casual attire and bring a resume.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
