As a Security Officer Full Time - Hospital Access in Travelers Rest, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
