About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, and operations by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting a secure environment. The role involves customer service, clear communication, and using a computer or tablet as needed.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The position offers access to additional shifts through the company's Claim a Shift platform, paid training, career growth opportunities, a retirement savings plan, and discounts through its Perks Program.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain required visitor or vehicle records.
• Report unusual conditions, damaged property, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
