About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Arcadia, California, you will help safeguard clients at a dynamic, retail-focused location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, deliver customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. The role is part-time, with a listed pay rate of $22.00 per hour and shifts on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location and perimeter, and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
