About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer at an office lobby in Cleveland, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will provide a welcoming presence, monitor access, assist visitors, and communicate professionally with employees and guests. You will address security-related concerns, remain aware of site activity, and support a positive environment through customer service. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $18.54 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests according to site requirements.
Answer incoming calls, provide reception support, and communicate visitor arrivals, deliveries, and service requests to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established procedures.
Maintain accurate front-desk records and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
