About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve as a Lobby Ambassador at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role combines front-desk customer service with visitor access procedures and monitoring entry activity to help maintain a secure, welcoming environment for employees and guests. The position pays $16.50 per hour with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Friday, 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

The officer will welcome and assist visitors, manage site access, observe access points and visitor activity, communicate security concerns, respond to incidents according to site procedures, and keep required records. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at a front desk.
• Greet guests, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related communications, and report unusual conditions or concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and other required documentation, and support a professional reception area.
