About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Ambassador for an assigned logistics and distribution location in Spring, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly daytime shift, with a six-month commitment to that designated site and schedule. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase their hours, with the opportunity to build toward up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $16.64 per hour. The listed shift is Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The position combines front-desk customer service with site security duties. The officer assists visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel; follows site-specific procedures and access protocols; monitors security systems; and responds calmly to incidents and critical situations. Additional shifts may be available at multiple sites.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel at the front desk, following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor visitor sign-ins, verify identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, receive packages and deliveries, and communicate routine information to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, alarm panels, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
