About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a residential site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves providing customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Pay is $19.28 per hour. The schedule includes Monday 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Thursday 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Saturday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and Sunday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
