Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervisors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, stockroom-adjacent areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns in accordance with site instructions.
• Support opening and closing procedures, assist with crowd and line management during busy shopping periods, and provide courteous directions and assistance to help maintain an orderly environment.
