At a premier commercial real estate location, Allied Universal team members help monitor access points, manage badges and visitor entry, and conduct routine patrols to support a secure environment. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access records to help support security-related operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or contacting the appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Assist with enforcing property access rules, directing foot traffic, and communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and vendors regarding site procedures and restricted areas.
