Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a luxury retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related behavior, and/or other concerning conduct through visible presence and routine interaction.
• Support store operations by communicating with staff, assisting with crowd and line management during busy periods, and completing required reports related to incidents, hazards, and/or daily activities.
