About The Position

Titan Security is hiring Security Officers for commercial buildings in Downtown Chicago. Officers work second or third shift and provide customer service, maintain administrative logs, control access, monitor cameras, patrol properties, and respond to incidents and emergencies. The role includes opportunities for training, career growth, and promotion.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state-accredited training requirements.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.
Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to people encountered while on duty, including assistance with directions and general business information.
Maintain clear, accurate front-desk administrative logs about people or property, including packages.
Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents, including emergencies, and record incident data for building and Titan Security management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
