About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Patrol Driver Transit in Santa Ana, California. The role serves and safeguards clients at a transportation-related location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and the pay rate is $21.00 per hour. The officer carries out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds calmly to incidents and critical situations, and performs regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug-screen requirements; licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Unarmed officers must be at least 18 years of age; armed officers must be at least 21 years of age.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for clients.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents at a transportation-related location.
Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors.
