As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a government location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns for reporting.
Monitor entrances, exits, and/or public areas, verify access permissions when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Support emergency response activities, provide directions and assistance during disruptions, and report maintenance, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
