As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and access, and support screening procedures while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain required logs, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or screening concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and communicating with supervisors and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to loading areas, trailer yards, docks, and other high-traffic locations as directed by site policies.
