About The Position

ProMedica Security Officers help ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees while monitoring facilities and assisting people with directions. The role regulates and controls traffic and enforces parking rules, providing traffic control when needed. Officers investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents, and restrain combative patients as needed. Officers must successfully complete all required training and keep certifications current. The summary describes the general nature and level of work and is not exhaustive.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the employee will work and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR, to qualify for coverage under the Company’s insurance policy.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in security or a related field.
• Prior security experience.
