As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Morning Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding property, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when required.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
