About The Position

As a Security Officer Financial Institution in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and support a welcoming experience for tenants and visitors. You will use communication and customer service skills while working with a collaborative team.

This is a full-time position scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $28.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and first responders.
• Maintain a professional environment throughout the location.
