About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. The position pays $23.18 per hour and has a listed schedule of Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role includes providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. The officer conducts regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; monitors access points; responds to concerns and incidents; reports unusual activity and maintenance issues; and completes patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditioned on a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while helping deter unauthorized access and potential policy violations.
