As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol X Ray Screening in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
