About The Position

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and property, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements.
Monitor entry points, verify credentials and shipping-related access authorization, and report irregularities to site leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility access points and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
