As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Screening in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including entrances, common areas, tenant spaces, and the exterior perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations according to site procedures.
Assist with maintaining an orderly shopping environment by providing directions, answering questions, and documenting incidents as required.
