As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, supporting authorized access procedures, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and onsite personnel.
