Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid in-state driver’s license and offers the opportunity to serve with integrity, reliability, care, and teamwork.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and request appropriate assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, property concerns, and other security-related incidents using established reporting procedures.
• Assist with crowd management, access control, and/or emergency response activities as directed by location management and Allied Universal.
