About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a retail and mall location in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff professionally. The role involves clear communication, responding to security-related concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment. The posted pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The schedule lists Monday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and client representatives by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site-specific procedures.
Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
