About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Checkpoint in Beverly Hills, California. The role provides dependable, consistent hours at an assigned commercial real estate site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift is a fixed “anchor shift” and requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may be available at multiple sites, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $20.90 per hour.

The officer provides front-desk customer service while following site-specific security procedures. Duties include welcoming visitors, verifying authorization, issuing credentials, maintaining visitor logs, monitoring activity and security systems, responding to incidents and tenant concerns, and assisting with emergency response and documentation.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Welcome visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, and/or video systems, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations.
• Assist with emergency response activities, communications, and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
