About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for facility patrol security at an assigned site in Grove City, Ohio. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift that requires a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours can vary with claimed shifts, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and to scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $17.98 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses. Duties include responding calmly to incidents, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, documenting activity, and reporting suspicious behavior or other concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills in incidents and critical situations, reporting observations and concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution location, including parking areas, the building perimeter, loading docks, trailer yards, and access points.
• Monitor access by verifying authorized entry, checking credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
• Deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and policy violations.
