About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Command Center in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and deactivating access badges.
• Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of various alarm technologies is preferred.
• Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access exceptions, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
