About The Position

As a Security Officer - Command Center Dispatch in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor alarm and access-control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. You will help maintain an orderly environment through accurate reporting, timely dispatch support, and exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and media location by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch security-related requests and incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, shift activity reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with site personnel and emergency responders during security-related incidents, outages, access concerns, and other operational disruptions.
