About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Center Coordinator in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor access control and alarm activity, document incidents, and dispatch personnel as needed. You will provide professional customer service while helping to maintain an orderly environment for tenants, visitors, and employees. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents, alarms, and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and records of personnel, visitor, contractor, and vendor communications as required by site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related observations according to site procedures.
