As a Security Officer Day Shift Patrol in Greenville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach while helping create a professional and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures and assigned security-related duties at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying authorization, documenting visitor information, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
