As a Security Officer Patrol Government Site in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to alarms and routine concerns while working collaboratively with site personnel. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events accurately.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete required reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
