As a Security Officer Patrol Government Site in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report unusual activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations through detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and sensitive work areas to help identify suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Monitor access and report unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the protection of personnel, property, and sensitive operations by maintaining a professional presence and following established post orders.
