As a Security Officer Driver Screener in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, helping support screening activities, observe assigned areas, and assist with security-related concerns through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, and screen people, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Support daily logistics and distribution operations by monitoring entry and exit activity, maintaining required logs, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding security-related matters.
