As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access, screen people and/or materials, and support daily site operations as part of a driving post. This role offers the chance to stay active, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver strong customer service while representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.
Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Screen people, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entry points, and perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, monitor high-traffic areas such as shipping and receiving zones, and support access control and visitor processing activities.
