About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Lockbourne, Ohio. The position offers a fixed weekly schedule of Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shifts. In addition to those anchor shifts, the officer may claim extra shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed. The pay rate is $19.07 per hour.

The officer provides customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures. Duties include unarmed patrols, access monitoring, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting activity and security concerns. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-adjacent areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, escalating security concerns through appropriate channels.
