As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Truck Gate in New Holland, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at a food and beverage location.
Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and/or visitor logs to help control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, emergency contacts, and/or local responders when needed.
Support the flow of deliveries, contractors, and/or scheduled guests by checking authorizations, maintaining accurate records, and directing individuals to approved points of contact.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing access points, exterior areas, and key operational spaces for security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
