Security Officer - Truck Gate
About The Position
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. The officer will work inside a scale house/gatehouse, processing inbound and outbound truck traffic. Responsibilities include managing gate access control for employees and deliveries.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working with computers.
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
- Must pass our drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior security experience preferred.
- If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role.
