As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will respond to security-related concerns with professionalism while reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and/or observe employee and visitor movement in accordance with site policies and assigned post orders.
• Document incidents, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
