About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Hope, Arkansas. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours may vary from part-time to as many as 40 per week depending on shifts claimed. The scheduled shift is Wednesday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM. Pay is $17.51 per hour, with weekly pay.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access, documents activity, and responds to incidents. The position also supports site operations by observing hygiene and facility-entry requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems.

• A guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe applicable hygiene and facility-entry requirements and communicate professionally with personnel and visitors.
