About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a concierge post in Houston, Texas. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while working with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with an hourly wage of $18. A uniform is provided at no cost. The officer welcomes, identifies, and guides visitors; manages access control; patrols to identify risks; and inspects security equipment. The role also involves responding to incidents, providing first aid, coordinating with emergency teams, answering questions in person or by phone, preparing incident reports, and communicating security concerns. Additional duties include attending to clients’ day-to-day problems, conveying the company’s mission and values to staff, and conducting security surveys to assess prospective property security needs.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process; employment is contingent on a post-offer background check and drug screening.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills and successfully complete a computer proficiency test.
• Have at least one year of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Hold a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver’s license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
• Be willing and able to work at odd hours and under pressure.

Responsibilities
