About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location in Austin, Texas. This mobile patrol driving position involves conducting routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. A valid driver's license is required. The role provides customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel; responds to security-related concerns; monitors access and activity; and documents patrols, incidents, and unusual activity. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $20.60 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor and contractor activity, and assist with directing guests according to site procedures.
Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
