About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a premier retail location in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is part-time and scheduled Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
Report unusual conditions, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
