About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking Security Officers for Full-Time & Part-Time positions across all shifts at our Buckhead and Midtown locations. We are a nationally recognized Top Workplace dedicated to building personalized security solutions. Our officers deter criminal activity, protect property, and enforce rules. Some roles involve monitoring surveillance and alarms, while others include patrolling and security checks. Responsibilities can range from site patrols and scanning personnel to managing parking, escorting deliveries, and securing the premises against theft and damage. We are looking for individuals who can multitask, prioritize tasks, and are comfortable with consistent standing and walking. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid Drivers License, where applicable.
Demonstrated professional presence, displaying the ability to work with and communicate with stakeholders and customers at all levels.
Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service background.
Comfortable with the use of technology, especially computer applications.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions under pressure and in absence of leadership.
Ability and willingness to learn.
Applicants will be subject to a background and fingerprint investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience

Responsibilities

Patrolling of the site, parking lot, office trailers, both floors of a 40 MW building, and fence line using a buggy or foot patrol.
Scanning workers on and off the site using hand held badge readers.
Creating badges using Crewsite system
Regulate parking, escorting deliveries (packages, supplies, trucks etc.)
Securing site to preventing theft and damage to property.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Must be comfortable standing, walking consistently.
Other duties as assigned.
